What you should know...

One-to-one lessons

We believe high quality, personalised one-to-one lessons are the most effective way of learning a language. Our priority is to treat each student individually so that they can become the most confident English speakers in the fastest way possible.

Online lessons

Our lessons are held across many platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, Messenger, Whatsapp and Skype. You can choose what platform is best for you. All you need is a good internet connection and a computer, phone or tablet.

With or without camera

We know that learning English can be scary. That is why we let you choose whether you’d prefer video calls or audio calls.

Short lessons as often as you like

Have lessons as often as you like. You can have lessons at the same time every week or choose to meet more spontaneously. Our one-to-one lessons last just 30 minutes and work perfectly with our TEA teaching method.

Only children can learn foreign languages

Wrong! It is never too late to start learning. Our eldest student so far is 65 years old and she's doing great! Two of the most common excuses we hear are lack of time and the feeling of embarrassment when speaking. These are psychological barriers that we often carry out of school. At That English Accent, our lessons are short and stress-free. We place great emphasis on speaking in a safe and friendly environment.

Learning a language is hard and stressful work

Wrong! That might be true if you must prepare for exams at school, but at That English Accent we don't weigh you down with any homework or tests. We believe that our lessons should provide you with enough knowledge to become a fluent English speaker without any extra work. We make sure that you feel comfortable and happy during our lessons. In no time at all you will open up and start speaking. If you've managed to learn your native language - you can do it again with English! 🙂

Grammar exercises are a crucial part of learning a language

Wrong! How do babies learn their native language? Not through grammar exercises but by listening, speaking and reading. That is why at That English Accent we focus mainly on communication. Don't worry, you will still use all the correct grammar structures on our lessons, but will do so practically.
