Hi!
My name is Julia Sambor and I’m originally from Poland, born in Koszalin. I’ve been living in England (Preston, near Manchester) since I was just 3 months old, so I grew up surrounded by both Polish and English culture.
I’m currently studying criminology at university, and I have a big interest in crime documentaries and understanding how people think. Outside of my studies, I love travelling – I took a gap year before uni and had the chance to explore different places. My favourite destinations so far have been Italy and Tenerife, as I absolutely love the sun, summer, and being outdoors.
In my free time, I enjoy going on walks and spending time around animals. One of my biggest dreams is to travel the world and eventually settle down in the countryside, where I can have my own farm and garden.
My favourite quote is: “Everything happens for a reason, even if the initial outcome isn’t what you expected.” I truly believe this has shaped the way I see life.
Fun fact: I collect magnets from every place I visit and love scrapbooking all the little tickets and memories from my travels – it’s my favourite way to relive those moments!
