Hi!
My name is Emilia Stępień and I am Polish. I have lived in the Polish little town of Szydłowiec all my life. I have been living in the English capital city of London for over 2 years.
I am really interested in sports (I played football as a striker for around 7 years), books, foreign languages and translations. I love animals, especially cats (fun fact: I used to have 12).
My role model is my Mom.
My favourite films are Titanic and Shutter Island.
I love camping, travelling with friends, and spending time in nature (taking walks in the woods, swimming in the lake/river, and lying in a hammock with a book).
My dream is to become a translator (ideally an audiovisual translator).
Someone once told me: “It is nice to be nice. You never know what someone might be going through. Being kind does not cost you anything and can make someone’s day better.” I fully agree with that and I am trying to live up to this.
